Meredith and Ben's Micro Wedding in Berry Hill, Nashville

The pandemic certainly brought out a bunch of new trends in weddings, and one of these is micro-weddings. They are just what they sound like - super small weddings! Meredith and Ben had a micro-wedding in Nashville this year, and Meredith explains why this trend was right for them:

“It was important for us to have our wedding where our families could gather safely. We wanted to make sure that even during a pandemic, we were able to celebrate with our families close and our friends joining in for the ceremony.”

One of the the things I really loved about Meredith and Ben’s wedding was all the hand-picked items and decor pieces. The groom and his dad made their triangular arch, and the rug for their ceremony was Ben’s grandparent’s rug! About this, Meredith says, “we wanted our wedding to be a reflection of our personalities and our love for each other. The family elements involved all meant something to us. Having Bar Taco cater was so special because we had our first date there and usually go there to celebrate our big moments. And we loved getting to create a space to remember and incorporate some elements from our home to make our day even more memorable.”

Meredith also said to me, “We will cherish our photos forever and can’t wait to use your talent again in the future,” so I’m hoping I get to see a lot more of these two over the next several years ;) Thanks for sharing your day with me!
