Kelly and Sloan's Drakewood Farm Wedding

Kelly and Sloan’s wedding day was nothing short of magical. These two have such a vibrancy for life, and are so fun to be around. I knew I could not do their story justice, so I asked them to share a bit about how they met and their relationship. This is what Kelly had to say:

"Sloan and I met on Tinder in my hometown, St. Petersburg, FL. I was living and working there as a kindergarten teacher. Sloan was on spring break looking for some (real quote from her bio) “immoral fun.” She likes to say it was a one-night stand gone very well. I never believed in love at first sight until I met Sloan. We bonded over our shared profession as elementary school teachers (she taught music), and our love for musical theater. Our first kiss was the most magical I had ever had: in the tangled branches of an old Banyon tree by the Fine Art Museum.

We visited each other as often as we could after that night. I moved up to Louisville six months later, and she proposed about eight months after that, on top of a mountain in Appalachia.  She still affectionately refers to me as “Florida Girl.” Sloan taught me what true love really means, both in loving others and loving myself. She went from first girlfriend to wife very quickly. We love fulfilling lesbian stereotypes every day."

I shared some of my favorites from their day below, including some epic dance party and night shots!
